Förlagets beskrivning
Teaching is an art and the quality of teaching depends on the love, dedication and devotion of the teacher towards the subject of the knowledge. The quality of any teaching programme cannot rise above the quality of its teachers. To enable the teachers to do their duties in a better way they should possess positive attitude towards teaching. Though education is considered as paedeocentric, it is a bi-polar process in which the personality of one person influences another with a view to modify his behaviour in order to bring about his all-round development in thought, feeling and action, a continuous interplan or exchange of ideas between the teacher and the taught. Central to this interaction process is the teacher. While education is paedeocentric in essence, the teacher still occupies a prior or central role in the learning of a child. The teacher is the dynamic force of the educational system. Education without a teacher is just like a body without soul, skeleton , flesh and blood , a shadow without substance. As social engineers, the teachers can socialize and humanize the young by their man like qualities. Education is not the communication of information by the teacher or the acquisition of knowledge by the child but the total development of the personality. Education consists of all those experience which affect the individual from birth till death. Education is the process by which an individual freely develops his self according to his nature in a free and uncontrolled environment. It is a life-long process of growth and development. It is not confined to the limits of time, place and individual.Teaching is a complex art and is dependent on method of teaching, curricula, infrastructure, technology, etc. It is a demanding job that requires in-depth knowledge of subject content and age-specific pedagogy. It also calls for divergent skills such as patience, leadership, creativity, administration, counseling and media specialization and so on. The individuals who teach the students answer the call and encounter many frustrations
