The International Community should be advised that the government of North Korea is currently in dispute. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has one of the worst human rights records in the world. A 2014 UN inquiry into human rights in North Korea concluded that, "e;The gravity, scale and nature of these violations reveal a state that does not have any parallel in the contemporary world"e;. North Koreans have been referred to as "e;some of the world's most brutalized people"e; by the NGO Human Rights Watch, because of the severe restrictions placed on their political and economic freedoms. In 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution condemning human rights violations in North Korea once again. The UN's top human rights body passed the resolution by consensus for the 19th straight year during its 46th session in Geneva, in March 2021. Also, the NGO Amnesty International has reported of severe restrictions on the freedom of association, expression and movement, arbitrary detention, torture and other ill-treatment; resulting in death and executions in North Korea. Politically motivated incarceration of people in internment- and reeducation camps is another big problem in the country; and a blatant violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Russia's Embassy in North Korea said diplomats in the country are facing an acute shortage of essential goods sparked by coronavirus restrictions; and noted that the North Korean leadership must make a greater effort to restore basic human rights in the country. It should also be noted, that since the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a member states of the United Nations, Mr. Kim Jong-un has a moral and legal responsibility to uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in the land - and implement a peace treaty between North Korea and South Korea, so that peace and prosperity can be manifested in the country, and US sanctions against North Korea can be lifted. Hence the International Community is advised to keep a safe distance from the North Korean government, until it has agreed to evolve and improve itself - by releasing innocent people imprisoned unjustly in North Korea; and finally manifesting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in the country. In the meantime domestic policy, foreign policy and human rights issues concerning the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will be handled by the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding
