Förlagets beskrivning
This a book about pain and frustration. It is not about hate, but about sadness, that a relatioship is not working. My years of clinical work has seen so many woman struggle to find a way to keep a relationship with their mothers, but at the same they felt every part of their psyche screaming to separate from their mothers so they can develop into their 'own' selves. These daughters never felt they were good enough in their mother's eyes; that feeling would often carry over to have they saw themselves in life in general. The book captures their struggles. It also captures the ways so many of them learned about how to manage, or escape if needed, from these not growth producing relationships
