The Sanitary Code of the Public Health Council contains provisions affecting labor.] EMPLOYMENT OF WOKEN IN CANNERIES [Supplementary to Labor Law, § 78, subd. 3 ; originally adopted and effective, June 27, 1913 ; readopted with verbal changes, June 19, 1914] Rule i.- Pursuant to subdivision 3, section 78 of the Labor Law, and upon application to be made by the employer to the Commissioner of Labor, women eighteen years of age and upwards may be employed or permitted to work in canning or preserving perishable products in fruit and canning establishments between the twenty-fifth day of June and the fifth day of August, nineteen fourteen, in excess of ten hours in any one day and sixty hours in any one week, but not in excess of twelve hours in any one day nor sixty-six hours In any one week nor six days in any one week, upon compliance with the following regulations: A woman may be so employed 1. At any process or part of the work which does not require continuous standing while at work, except that she shall not be so employed in the processes of labeling or packing cans; 2. Provided that every floor on which such woman is employed be drained free of liquids; but whenever any such floor cannot be kept entirely free from liquids, slat platforms shall also be furnished upon which such
