Förlagets beskrivning

It can be shown that we live forever. Albert Einstein opened a much larger door than that of scientific discovery. With his Theories of Relativity, he began the unveiling of the universe of logos, that of rational accounting. He showed us the power of perspective and, along with Max Planck, began the process wherein mind and mathematics have replaced space, time, matter and force as the primary components of our world. Einstein's theories of Relativity, along with the precepts of Quantum Mechanics, contain implications that involve all of reality and our place in it. Such dramatically advanced and timeless thinking led Sir James Jeans, assistant to Hubble, to claim that we live in a universe originating in and consisting of thought underlain by mind. John Archibald Wheeler, mentor of the greatest minds in theoretical physics during the past sixty years, built on all of this in declaring that the universe is information with energy and matter as incidental moieties. Equipped with the power of such ideas, we can confidently declare that things are nothing like what they seem to be. As one of these entities is death, we then begin to see, through logical thought based primarily on science, that we cannot avoid the conclusion that we are immortal. (Einstein agreed.) Please see "The Physics and Philosophy of Eternal Life" in my website, platoeinsteinandgod.info, for many details. I entreat you, however, not to stop there, because assurance of immortality does not equal assurance of an eternal life of happiness. If possible, one needs to prepare, to get ready for a consciousness with which we are highly unlikely to be familiar. I claim that preparation is indeed possible; that there exists an effective way of preparing, the validity of which is firmly supported by reams of objective and compelling evidence; and that Things Are Not as They Seem is a extensive summary of that evidence and a new and novel approach to an old theme
