Förlagets beskrivning
Rosalind was named after two authors and has always dreamed of becoming an author for her names' sake. Writing is to her, what jogging is to a health guru. She lives way up North in British Columbia with one husband, three kids, three cats and a dog. She is a mom, teacher/counselor, and would-be photographer who has experienced for herself the turmoil of grief and loss. She has come to accept that life is a journey where people come and go, good and bad things happen to everyone, and attitude makes all the difference. Being a teacher/counselor has kept her heart connected to the world and the reality of the pain children all too frequently feel. Sometimes things happen that kids just aren't equipped to deal with. Processing grief is something we all need help with. Sometimes we just don't know how to start. Being a mom has kept her heart connected to the truth and reality of love. She knows that she is loved and that her journey is a process. Her children have given her a sense of purpose and resolve that grief had taken from her. Sometimes good-bye is just plain hard to say, but she has learned that it is a crucial step for a healthy journey. Photography is the medium of expression and creativity that became her catalyst out of despair. Her photos are the pictures she can't paint and the words she can't write. She is happiest behind the lens, focusing on the uniqueness of others
