I know there be many Pamphlets, prodigious Histories and Romances, invented by mens Fancies, which abuse many Noble Spirits, in reading of which they spend their time in vain, and dull their Wits: Which Books are more fit for Women than Men. For they will furnish them with strange Stories, and a few fine words. Also there be many Books of Disputes in Divinity, which tend more to make our Differences the greater, than any waves to edifie or unite us: therefore if your Genius leads you to read such Books, this is not for your Fancy.
