This book discusses the history of underwater, including William Thompson, Jean de Woters, Jacques Cousteau, and the Calypso camera. Also included in this book is a basic understanding of the techniques and characteristics associated with underwater photography (e.g. full spectrum light, refraction, backscatter, etc.), as well various popular subject matter within underwater photography.
